Results:

From the week beginning the 22nd June 2020, we began Phase 1 of a Four phase return to work.  This means that while a majority of staff continue to work from home some members of staff are now working from our centres on a rota basis.   We will monitor how these arrangements work and will review them along with local and national government advice, at the end of July.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the challenges carers face and an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all unpaid carers.

The mission of Welcare is to work alongside parents to give practical and emotional support to overcome challenges and change lives for the better and we are continuing to do this. Our approach is all about working together, which is why our decision to close all our centres to the public and suspend home visiting is so difficult.  However, we are following government guidelines to slow the spread of the virus and therefore our staff are now working from home to protect our NHS and save lives.

Children’s Mental Health Week takes place from Sunday 2nd to 9th February 2020, offering a period of reflection on the importance of emotional and mental wellbeing in young people.

Welcare's Friends are from the local community, they work together as a cohesive local group and cooperate closely with their Local Centre with the aim of promoting Welcare and organising fundraising events.

This Christmas we enabled families to take control of their personal circumstances by providing supermarket and store vouchers to parents so that they could buy toys for their children in Bromley and South-West London and gave free gifts to nominated families in East Surrey and Inner London.

We have been overwhelmed by the magnificent level of support received throughout our 125th Anniversary year which has enabled us to provide help and support to 762 children and families through individual one-to-one or group work programmes.

In time for our 120th Anniversary we have launched a new website!
