What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a governmental scheme available to charities which allows them to claim extra money from HMRC. As long as you’ve paid the basic rate of tax, make the donation from your own funds and have completed a Gift Aid Declaration Form, Welcare can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you.
To ensure we can claim Gift Aid you will need to complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form. You can include all donations from the last 4 years, but please let us know if you have had years where you did not pay enough tax.
