Welcare Impact Report 2016-17

We have produced our latest Impact Report 2016-17 – a snapshot document detailing our achievements of 2016-17 and an overview of who we are, what we do, and how we make a difference for children and families.

The report is available online and in print. To order hard copies please email fundraising@welcare.org or call us on 0207 820 7910.

During 2016/17 we supported 417 children and 238 families. An additional 916 children and families attending our groups and activities. Our frontline family support staff worked across South London and East Surrey, supported by 209 volunteers who dedicated over 3,735 hours of support to help Welcare’s beneficiaries.

Anna Khan, our CEO, says: “I am so pleased to share with you our Impact Report for 2016/17 which provides a snapshot of what we do, the difference we make to the lives of over one thousand children and their families and how we measure how effective we have been. We work hard to ensure the money we receive through fundraising, grant making trusts, our individual regular supporters and statutory funders is used efficiently and effectively to provide practical and emotional support to families and improve the lives of children. Thank you for your support. You help to make sure Welcare continues to be here now and always for children, young people and families in their times of need.”
