We are delighted to have been awarded £40,000 over four years by The Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund to enable us to work with more children and their families.
Funding will contribute towards the cost of employing a Family Support Worker to deliver individual and group work to vulnerable families in Woolwich who are struggling to support their children due to domestic violence, mental health challenges, relationship breakdown and poverty. Staff and volunteers are based on the Nightingale Estate in Woolwich and the children and families we support are drawn from the most deprived wards in the borough with the highest incidence of domestic violence and abuse.
