Myra and Mia were referred to Welcare via Lambeth’s domestic violence service after domestic abuse towards Myra by Mia’s father. Welcare programmes for Myra (Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities) and Mia (MySpace) helped them both to come to terms with the abuse and their feelings.
