Richmond May Fair

The Welcare stall at the Richmond May Fair was a resounding success. We were able to raise awareness, funds and reestablish Welcare’s presence in the community.

Following the move from Twickenham Green to East Sheen, the May Fair provided the perfect opportunity to publicise our new location and the continuing support we offer to families in need. Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters and the hard work of our volunteer network, Welcare raised over £200 but more importantly we were able to assert our position as a vital resource in helping troubled families and supporting victims of domestic abuse.

The benefits from this fair may not be immediate, but the long-term value of reminding the borough of the importance of our mission is immeasurable and it will enable us to continue to support local families in need.

Our thanks to all those who donated goods, and especially to those who came out to support us and help run the stall, we look forward to seeing you at future events.
