Welcare is delighted to announce that we have received a generous £3,500 grant from Richmond Charities to continue supporting families in Richmond throughout 2026. We are incredibly grateful for this continued partnership and the trust Richmond Charities places in our work.
This funding will directly benefit families facing financial hardship by enabling us to provide vital practical support over the coming year. Through this grant, we will be able to assist families with essential items and emergency needs, including:
- White goods such as fridges, freezers, and washing machines
- Beds, bedding, and other basic household items
- School uniform and warm clothing
- Supermarket food vouchers
- Flooring or carpets for families living in unsuitable accommodation
- Special sensory equipment for children with additional needs
These forms of support make a significant difference to the stability, comfort, and wellbeing of the families we work with. For many, they are a lifeline at a time of real vulnerability.
We wouldn’t be able to continue offering this level of practical help without the generosity of funders like Richmond Charities. Their commitment ensures that families receive the support they need to feel safe, secure, and hopeful for the future.
