Welcare is delighted to share that James Floyd will be taking part in the MDS 120 Morocco between 4th and 7th October 2026, a remarkable endurance challenge in the Sahara Desert. Participants cover up to 120 kilometres over three stages, tackling demanding desert terrain while carrying their own supplies and spending several days immersed in the Sahara.
The Floyd family have been wonderful supporters of Welcare over many years. James has previously taken part in fundraising challenges for the charity, including the London 10k, and is now preparing to take on this unique desert adventure. His commitment reflects both a passion for endurance running and a desire to support children and families through Welcare’s work.
Through his fundraising page, James is encouraging friends, family and supporters to get behind the challenge and help raise vital funds for Welcare. Every donation, large or small, will help make a difference.
