We are delighted to have received a grant of £40,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation towards our 2026-27 core costs, helping us sustain and develop our Child & Family Support Service across South London and East Surrey.
The funding comes at a time of increasing demand for support from families facing multiple challenges, including domestic abuse, mental health difficulties, social isolation, financial hardship and family breakdown. By supporting our core costs, this grant will help ensure we can continue providing timely, professional support to children and families when they need it most.
The grant will help maintain the skilled team, infrastructure and organisational capacity that underpin all our services, while also supporting our growing focus on domestic abuse recovery work. This specialist, trauma-informed support helps children and their non-abusive parents recover from the impact of abuse, rebuild confidence and strengthen family relationships.
Each year, we work with more than 800 families, offering one-to-one support, group programmes and practical assistance that help families overcome challenges, build resilience and create brighter futures. The Garfield Weston Foundation’s support will help us continue this vital work and respond to increasing levels of need across the communities we serve.
