Welcare Bromley Wins Three Volunteer Awards

The Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Ian Payne presented certificates to Welcare honouring Sue Thomas for her outstanding work as a Child mentor, Tony Peters, for his enormous contribution providing administrative support and our own Paul Vitty for developing and managing our team of volunteers to  work with children and families in the borough.  The awards were organised by Community Links Bromley to recognise the value volunteers bring to their community, estimated to be worth over £116 million in Bromley alone.   We were especially thrilled to win in three categories as there is a vibrant voluntary sector community in the borough with over 60,000 active volunteers.  It was a wonderful endorsement of out work during national volunteers week.
