Our Brilliant Bromley supporters are having their yearly charity preview at the Bromley Little Theatre on 12th January 2023. The performance this year will be ‘Love From A Stranger’ written by Agatha Christie. Tickets are £12 and can be brought from Gillian Scales by calling 020 8663 3173 or emailing g.scales566@btinternet.com

Doors and the bar open at 7pm and there will be a raffle.

All seats are reserved and tickets must be purchased in advance. There are 20 steep stairs up to the theatre but a very small lift is available. The theatre is in North Street, BR1 1SD, diagonally opposite Bromley North station. Allow plenty of time for parking

Synopsis

When Cecily Harrington wins a small fortune in a sweepstake a new life beckons full of adventure and travel. As her best friend Mavis plans to set off on her own travels, Cecily begins to question her own plans to settle down with fiancé Nigel.
Enter the charming stranger Bruce Lovell – handsome, charismatic, mysterious! Swept off her feet in a whirlwind romance a new and exciting future awaits her – is this the romantic adventure she has been looking for, or a fatal mistake and is there really such a thing as ‘love with a stranger’?

Adapted from her short play Philomel Cottage and stage play ‘The Stranger’ this psychological thriller has everything you want from a classic Agatha Christie: love, suspense and maybe even murder!
