Welcare centres

Welcare provides its services through local centres situated across 9 boroughs or local authorities in South London and East Surrey.

Who are our centres for?

Our centres are there for children and families who live locally. Each centre gives 'added value' because of the range of services provided; families can move from one to another according their needs.

What can we offer?

We work preventatively with children and families in need. This may be through social work, counselling or group work for parents, encouraging their development and independence. We work to encourage families to find their own solutions through Family Group Meetings, and to assist in conflict resolution through Contact Centres. In some cases we provide child care support through crèche provision and holiday playschemes. And we also offer families opportunities to have fun!

What do we ask of those using our centres?

Our users come from a wide range of social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We ask that users respect the diversity of all those who use the centre; and that they adhere to Welcare's equal opportunities policy.

Security notice: In the interests of security we would like to point out that no information about families using our services will be available either on the website, or at our centres, to anybody other than staff. We practise a strict code of confidentiality at all times.
