Volunteer with Welcare
Many of our services depend on volunteers to keep going. If you have a little spare time, even just one hour a month, we’d love to hear from you.
Could you become a volunteer ‘grandparent’ with our Generation Link project, for example? Or help out at our child contact centres?
Maybe you could help at a crèche or holiday playscheme, or work with families alongside our staff?

We also need volunteers to help with:
- administration, such as photocopying, phone calls, data input
- DIY and upkeep of premises
- sorting equipment, clothes and toys
- fundraising – organising an event, letters, writing bids
- gardening
- helping at parties, picnics and social events
- distributing information
- Welcare local area support groups
- promoting Welcare to other agencies
- publicity
- reception
- representing Welcare at meetings
- training
- transport
