Welcare in Lambeth and Southwark

Welcare in Lambeth and Southwark is one of eight centres run by Welcare. We work with families in Lambeth and Southwark who are struggling to cope – helping them give their children a happier, more confident childhood.

Our half term groups for children aged 5-13 help to develop self-confidence and self-esteem. Children are referred to the groups by their local schools.

Generation Link provides volunteer ‘grandparents’ to isolated families who might not otherwise have the support of the older generation.

The Greenhouse after-school project in Camberwell helps children facing tough times – providing on-going support and unconditional tough love from reliable adults.
